Introduction

The purpose of this document is to outline the system requirements for the "clever-kids" project, a comprehensive educational platform designed to assist students from 5th to 12th grade in their academic pursuits. The platform will provide a variety of study tools including notes, practice tests, quizzes, study guides, detailed explanations, and flashcards, all under the brand name "Study Bridge."

The "clever-kids" platform, branded as Study Bridge, aims to enhance the learning experience for students in grades 5 through 12. By offering a wide range of study aids, the platform will support students in mastering their subjects through interactive and engaging methods. The primary focus is on the student experience, ensuring that the platform is intuitive and tailored to their educational needs.

Signature Design Concept

The homepage of Study Bridge will feature an interactive "Study Galaxy" concept. Using @react-three/fiber and @react-three/drei, the homepage will present a 3D galaxy where each star represents a different study tool (notes, quizzes, flashcards, etc.). Students can click on a star to zoom in and access the respective feature. The galaxy will rotate gently, and hovering over stars will highlight connections between related topics, creating an engaging and exploratory learning environment.

Interaction Model & Motion Direction

The landing page will employ a "parallax" interaction model to create a sense of depth and immersion. As students scroll, layers of educational content will move at different speeds, enhancing the storytelling aspect of the platform. Each section will have a distinctive interactive element, such as kinetic typography or morphing SVGs, to maintain engagement and interest.

Non-Functional Requirements

• The platform must be accessible and responsive across all devices, including desktops, tablets, and smartphones.
• The system should ensure data privacy and security, particularly for student information.
• The platform should support high availability and scalability to accommodate a growing number of users.
