System Requirements Document (SRD)

Project Name: calm-stockton

1. Introduction

The calm-stockton project is an ambitious initiative envisioned by Jhovany Beltran to establish Stockton, California, as a hub for action and actor-centric movies. This project aims to create a Hollywood-inspired ecosystem that combines physical infrastructure and digital platforms to connect actors, directors, and producers. By leveraging a $9 billion asset base, the project will provide state-of-the-art facilities and tools to foster creativity, collaboration, and production excellence in the Stockton area.

This document outlines the system requirements for the calm-stockton project, including functional and non-functional requirements, user personas, design concepts, and technical specifications.

2. System Overview

The calm-stockton project will consist of two primary components:

  1. Physical Infrastructure: A series of Hollywood-inspired buildings designed to serve as a central hub for actors, directors, and producers. These buildings will include studios, rehearsal spaces, editing suites, and other facilities necessary for movie production.

  2. Digital Platform: A web and mobile application that facilitates networking, casting, project management, and resource allocation for movie production.

The system will cater to a diverse range of users, including actors, directors, producers, and other stakeholders in the film industry. It will provide tools for showcasing talent, posting and managing projects, and coordinating production activities.

  • Text: #FFFFFF (Bright White)
  • Accent: #FFD700 (Hollywood Gold)

This palette reflects the sophistication and allure of the film industry while maintaining a modern and professional aesthetic.

6. Signature Design Concept

The calm-stockton homepage will feature an interactive Hollywood Boulevard experience.

Concept Details:

  • Visuals: The homepage will resemble a virtual Hollywood Walk of Fame, with animated stars embedded in the pavement. Each star represents a feature or section of the platform (e.g., "Actors," "Directors," "Projects").
  • Interaction: Users can hover over stars to reveal a pop-up with details about the feature. Clicking a star will take them to the corresponding section.
  • Animation: Subtle animations will include shimmering effects on the stars and a dynamic spotlight that follows the user's cursor.
  • Transitions: Smooth transitions between sections will mimic the opening of a movie scene, with cinematic fades and sound effects.
  • Color Shifts: The background will subtly shift from deep blue to golden hues as users scroll, evoking the transition from night to a Hollywood sunrise.

This design will create an unforgettable first impression, immersing users in the glamour and excitement of the film industry.
