Introduction

The Brave-System is a travel journaling application designed to help users save memories, photos, locations, and organize trips by country. This document outlines the system requirements for the Brave-System, incorporating the latest updates requested by Komal Gohil.

  • Friend: A user who joins another user's trip journal to share and view travel experiences.

Core User Flows

Signature Design Concept

The Brave-System will feature an interactive travel map on the homepage. Users can click on different countries to view their travel journals. Each country will be represented by a pin that, when hovered over, displays a brief summary of the trips taken there. Clicking a pin will zoom into a detailed view of the trip, showcasing photos and memories in a dynamic carousel. This concept will be implemented using @react-three/fiber for 3D map interactions and framer-motion for smooth transitions and animations.

Interaction Model & Motion Direction

The landing page will utilize a "parallax" interaction model, providing a layered depth effect as users scroll through their travel memories. The map and journal entries will move at different speeds, creating an immersive storytelling experience. Internal pages will adopt a "static" model for clarity and ease of use.

Non-Functional Requirements

  • The system should support high-resolution photo uploads.
  • The application must ensure data privacy and secure access control.
  • The platform should be responsive and accessible on both web and mobile devices.
