agile-qa System Requirements Document
1. Introduction
The "agile-qa" project is designed to provide a comprehensive QA/QC and Food Safety AI solution. This project targets the niche of quality control technicians, offering tools that streamline processes such as SOP generation, HACCP/SQF documentation, CAPA reports, and audit preparation. Given the specialized nature of these tools, they are highly valued in the industry.
2. System Overview
The agile-qa system aims to enhance the efficiency and effectiveness of quality control processes in the food safety domain. By leveraging AI, the system will automate and optimize various documentation and reporting tasks, reducing manual effort and increasing accuracy.
3. Functional Requirements as Story Points
- As a QC Technician, I should be able to generate SOPs (Standard Operating Procedures) to ensure consistent quality control processes.
- As a QC Technician, I should be able to create and manage HACCP (Hazard Analysis and Critical Control Points) and SQF (Safe Quality Food) documentation to comply with industry standards.
- As a QC Technician, I should be able to generate CAPA (Corrective and Preventive Action) reports to address and prevent quality issues.
- As a QC Technician, I should be able to prepare for audits efficiently, ensuring all necessary documentation is organized and accessible.
4. User Personas
- QC Technician: Responsible for ensuring product quality and safety, managing documentation, and preparing for audits.

5. Core User Flows
- QC Technician generates SOP -> Reviews and edits SOP -> Approves and distributes SOP.
- QC Technician creates HACCP/SQF documentation -> Reviews and updates documentation -> Submits for compliance checks.
- QC Technician generates CAPA report -> Identifies issues -> Implements corrective actions -> Verifies effectiveness.
- QC Technician prepares for audit -> Organizes documentation -> Conducts pre-audit checks -> Completes audit.
6. Visuals Colors and Theme
- primary: #0056b3 (a professional blue for trust and reliability)
- primary_light: #4d88ff (a lighter blue for hover states)
- secondary: #ffcc00 (a warm yellow for highlights and secondary actions)
- accent: #ff5733 (a vibrant orange for CTAs and active states)
- highlight: #33cc33 (a green for notifications and success messages)
- bg: #f4f4f9 (a light grey for the background)
- surface: #ffffff (a pure white for cards and panels)
- text: #333333 (a dark grey for primary text)
- text_muted: #777777 (a softer grey for secondary text)
- border: #cccccc (a subtle grey for borders)
7. Signature Design Concept
The homepage of agile-qa will feature an interactive "Quality Control Journey" animation. Users will see a digital conveyor belt where documents like SOPs, HACCP plans, and CAPA reports are visually processed. As users scroll, they can drag and drop documents onto the conveyor belt, which then animates the transformation of these documents into organized, compliant formats. This interactive experience will use motion/react for smooth transitions and animations, creating an engaging and memorable first impression.

LANDING HERO MOTION BRIEF
The landing hero will depict a QC Technician's desk with documents scattered around. As the user interacts, documents will float towards a central processing unit, transforming into organized files. This 6-14 second loop will highlight the transformation from chaos to order, emphasizing the product's ability to streamline processes. The animation will be built using motion/react for seamless integration and responsiveness.
8. Interaction Model & Motion Direction
- Intended Interaction Model: Animated
- The landing page will feature moderate scroll-triggered reveals and hover transitions, with spring physics on interactive elements to enhance user engagement.
9. Non-Functional Requirements
- The system must ensure data security and compliance with industry standards.
- The system should be scalable to accommodate growing data and user demands.
- The system must provide a user-friendly interface for ease of use.
10. Tech Stack
- Frontend: React for Web
- Backend: Python, FastAPI
- Database: MySQL or MariaDB, using Alembic for migrations
- AI Models: GPT 5.4 for user-friendly responses
