Introduction

The Uiux project aims to redesign the webpage for Acctual with a focus on enhancing user experience (UX) and user interface (UI). The goal is to create a more creative, minimal, clean, and unique design while maintaining the existing content structure.

System Overview

The Uiux project involves the redesign of the Acctual webpage to improve its visual appeal and usability. The redesign will focus on creating a more engaging and intuitive user experience while preserving the original content sections. The project will leverage modern design principles and technologies to achieve these objectives.

Functional Requirements

  • As a User, I should be able to navigate through a clean and minimal interface that enhances readability and usability.
  • As a User, I should be able to access all existing content sections with improved visual hierarchy and layout.
  • As a User, I should experience a unique and creative design that differentiates the webpage from its previous version.
  • As a User, I should be able to interact with the webpage seamlessly on both desktop and mobile devices.
  • As a User, I should experience faster load times and optimized performance for a smoother browsing experience.

User Personas

  • General User: Individuals visiting the Acctual webpage for information or services.
  • Mobile User: Users accessing the webpage via mobile devices, requiring a responsive design.
  • Returning Visitor: Users familiar with the previous design, expecting improved usability and aesthetics.

Core User Flows

  • User visits the homepage -> Navigates through sections -> Interacts with content -> Experiences improved UX/UI.
  • Mobile User accesses the site -> Engages with responsive design -> Navigates seamlessly -> Completes desired actions.

Signature Design Concept

The homepage will feature an interactive "Digital Canvas" concept. Users will be greeted with a dynamic, minimalist interface where sections appear as floating panels on a virtual canvas. As users scroll, the panels will elegantly glide into view, creating a sense of depth and fluidity. Each panel will have subtle animations triggered by user interactions, such as hovering or clicking, providing a tactile experience. The design will utilize framer-motion for smooth transitions and animations, enhancing the overall interactivity and engagement.

Interaction Model & Motion Direction

  • Interaction Model: Parallax
    • The landing page will employ a parallax effect, with layered depth and smooth scrolling transitions. Decorative elements will move at varying speeds to create a dynamic visual experience, while content remains easily accessible.
  • Internal Pages: Static
    • Internal pages will focus on layout clarity with minimal motion to ensure quick access to information and functionality.

Non-Functional Requirements

  • The system should ensure cross-browser compatibility and responsiveness across all devices.
  • The design should prioritize accessibility, adhering to WCAG 2.1 standards.
  • The webpage should load within 3 seconds on standard internet connections.

  • AI Tools: Not applicable

Assumptions and Constraints

  • The existing content structure will remain unchanged, focusing solely on UI/UX improvements.
  • The redesign will not introduce new features beyond visual and usability enhancements.
  • The project will adhere to the specified tech stack unless otherwise directed.
