System Requirement Document

Sultan of Lightning

Introduction

The Sultan of Lightning project aims to deliver an innovative and seamless face-swapping application leveraging the latest advancements in web technologies and artificial intelligence. This document outlines the system requirements for the SultanAI v3 - Pulse Edition, a comprehensive face-swapping software solution.

System Overview

SultanAI v3 - Pulse Edition is designed to provide a cutting-edge face-swapping experience using a hybrid software architecture. It integrates modern web standards with advanced AI engines hosted in Docker containers. The application is built using Next.js 16 and React 19, ensuring a responsive and visually appealing user interface. The core functionality is powered by AI models such as InsightFace for image analysis and GFPGAN for precise face restoration, all orchestrated through a high-speed data bridge using Server Actions.

Functional Requirements

  • As a User, I should be able to swap faces in images using AI technology.
  • As a User, I should experience a seamless and responsive interface.
  • As a User, I should be able to interact with the application in Arabic with RTL support.
  • As a User, I should see animated particles in the background for a dynamic visual experience.
  • As a Developer, I should be able to deploy the AI engine using Docker containers.
  • As a User, I should be able to use a navigation bar with a blur/glassmorphism effect.
  • As a User, I should be able to interact with source and target image cards with drag-and-drop support.
  • As a User, I should have access to a control panel with a quality selector, main tabs, template grid, and background grid components.

User Personas

  • User: Individuals looking to swap faces in images for entertainment or creative purposes.
  • Developer: Technicians responsible for maintaining and deploying the application.

Visuals Colors and Theme

The Sultan of Lightning project employs a unique color palette that reflects its advanced technological theme:

  • primary: #00F0FF (Cyan)
  • primary_light: #66F5FF
  • secondary: #B300FF (Purple)
  • accent: #FF007F (Pink)
  • highlight: #FFD700 (Gold)
  • bg: #0a0a0f (Deep Background)
  • surface: rgba(15, 15, 25, 0.45)
  • text: #FFFFFF
  • text_muted: #CCCCCC
  • border: rgba(255, 255, 255, 0.08)

Signature Design Concept

The Sultan of Lightning homepage will feature an interactive, animated particle background that creates a sense of depth and movement. Users will experience a floating effect with particles ranging from 1 to 3 pixels in size, colored in cyan with a purple glow. These particles will drift upwards with varying transparency, creating a dynamic visual that lasts between 4 to 8 seconds randomly. The background will be fixed, ensuring it remains behind all content without interfering with user interactions. Additionally, a rotating conic-gradient effect will appear on card edges, enhancing the glassmorphism design. This concept will be implemented using framer-motion for smooth animations and gsap for scroll-triggered effects.

Interaction Model & Motion Direction

The landing page will utilize a "parallax" interaction model, providing a layered depth experience as users scroll. Decorative elements like animated particles will move at different speeds, while core content remains in the natural flow. This approach is ideal for creating a visually rich first impression. Internal pages will adopt a "static" model to prioritize clarity and readability.

Non-Functional Requirements

  • The application must support Arabic language with RTL text direction.
  • The system should ensure high availability and quick response times.
  • The UI must be responsive across various devices and screen sizes.

Tech Stack

  • Frontend: Next.js 16, React 19
  • Backend: Docker-hosted AI engine
  • AI Models: InsightFace, GFPGAN
  • Fonts: Cairo for Arabic, Space Grotesk for English
  • Animation Libraries: framer-motion, gsap

Assumptions and Constraints

  • The application will be primarily used in Arabic-speaking regions.
  • The system will be deployed in a cloud environment with Docker support.
  • The application must handle a high volume of image processing requests efficiently.

Glossary

  • AI Engine: A software component that uses artificial intelligence to perform specific tasks.
  • Docker: A platform for developing, shipping, and running applications in containers.
  • Face Swap: The process of digitally replacing one person's face with another in an image.
  • Glassmorphism: A design trend characterized by frosted-glass-like elements.
  • RTL: Right-to-left text direction, used in languages such as Arabic.
