Health System Requirements Document

Introduction

The Health project aims to develop a comprehensive application that integrates health monitoring and management features, similar to the CAL AI and Claorie AI applications. This document outlines the system requirements for the Health project, ensuring a robust and user-friendly experience for all stakeholders.

System Overview

The Health project is designed to provide users with a seamless experience in managing their health data, tracking fitness goals, and integrating with external health applications like Claorie AI. The system will support various user personas, including patients, healthcare providers, and administrators, to facilitate effective health management.

Functional Requirements as Story Points

  • As a User, I should be able to track my daily calorie intake and expenditure.
  • As a User, I should be able to integrate my health data with the Claorie AI app for enhanced analytics.
  • As a User, I should be able to set and monitor fitness goals.
  • As a User, I should be able to receive personalized health recommendations based on my data.
  • As an Admin, I should be able to manage user accounts and access permissions.
  • As a Healthcare Provider, I should be able to view and analyze patient health data.
  • As a User, I should be able to sync my data with wearable devices.

User Personas

  • User: Individuals who use the app to track their health and fitness data.
  • Admin: Personnel responsible for managing the application and user access.
  • Healthcare Provider: Medical professionals who use the app to monitor and analyze patient data.

Core User Flows

  • User logs in -> tracks daily calorie intake -> integrates data with Claorie AI -> receives personalized recommendations.
  • Healthcare Provider logs in -> accesses patient data -> reviews health analytics -> provides feedback to the patient.
  • Admin logs in -> manages user accounts -> updates access permissions -> monitors system usage.

Signature Design Concept

The Health project will feature an interactive "Health Journey Map" on the landing page. This map will visually represent the user's health journey, with animated paths connecting different health milestones. Users can click on each milestone to view detailed insights and recommendations. The map will dynamically update as users input new data, creating a living illustration of their health progress. The design will use motion/react for smooth animations and transitions, ensuring an engaging user experience.

Landing Hero Motion Brief

The hero section will depict a user's health journey as a dynamic path that evolves with each input. As users log their activities, the path will animate to show progress, with icons representing different health milestones. The animation will loop every 10 seconds, highlighting the transformation from data input to health insights. Interactive elements will allow users to explore specific milestones, providing a rich, engaging experience.

Interaction Model & Motion Direction

The landing page will employ an "animated" interaction model, featuring scroll-triggered reveals and hover transitions. The continuous 2D motion loop will enhance the storytelling aspect, making the health journey visually compelling. Internal pages will maintain a "static" interaction model for clarity and ease of use.

Non-Functional Requirements

  • The system must ensure data privacy and comply with relevant health data regulations.
  • The application should be responsive and accessible on various devices.
  • The system should support seamless integration with third-party health applications.

Tech Stack

  • Frontend: React for Web
  • Backend: Python, FastAPI
  • Database: MySQL or MariaDB
  • AI Models: GPT 5.4 for user-friendly responses
  • AI Tools: Litellm for LLM Routing
  • Local Orchestration: Docker, docker-compose
  • Server-Side Orchestration: Kubernetes

Assumptions and Constraints

  • The integration with Claorie AI is pre-approved by the API supervisor.
  • The application will primarily target users in India, considering local health regulations and user preferences.
  • The system will support English as the primary language, with potential for localization in future updates.
