GENZ-MART System Requirements Document

Introduction

GENZ-MART is a local online marketplace platform designed to cater to the unique needs of the Northeast state communities residing in Bangalore, specifically in areas like Indiranagar, Ejipura, Kalyan Nagar, and Whitefield. The platform aims to provide a seamless shopping experience for products such as axone, smoked pork, bamboo shoots, and other regional specialties.

System Overview

GENZ-MART will function as an online marketplace similar to platforms like Zepto and Blinkit, focusing on delivering niche products from the Northeast states to specific localities in Bangalore. The platform will support product discovery in local vendor, order placement, and delivery tracking, ensuring a user-friendly experience for its target audience.

Functional Requirements as Story Points

  • As a User, I should be able to login in different options,browse and search for products like axone, smoked pork, and bamboo shoots.
  • As a User, I should be able to place orders for delivery to Indiranagar, Ejipura, Kalyan Nagar, and Whitefield.
  • As a User, I should receive notifications about order status and delivery updates.
  • As a User, I should be able to track my order in real-time.
  • As an Admin, I should be able to manage product listings and inventory specific to Northeast state products.
  • As an Admin, I should be able to manage delivery logistics and ensure timely delivery to the specified areas.and Admin panel Dashboard full control and auto payout split between all users like admin platform fee, Delivery Charge and Vendor Product Cost or Charge.

Signature Design Concept

The GENZ-MART homepage will feature an interactive map of Bangalore highlighting the target areas (Indiranagar, Ejipura, Kalyan Nagar, Whitefield). Users can hover over each area to see popular products from the Northeast states, with animated 3D icons representing items like axone, smoked pork, and bamboo shoots. Clicking on an icon will open a detailed product page with details and purchasing options in different types of payment.

Landing Hero Motion Brief

The landing hero will showcase a dynamic animation where a basket of Northeast state products travels across a stylized map of Bangalore. As the basket moves, it highlights each target area, showing a transformation of the basket filling with regional products. The animation will loop every 10 seconds, providing a continuous visual story of product delivery. This will be implemented using motion/react for smooth transitions and interactions with 3D.

  • Interaction Model: Parallax
  • The landing page will employ a parallax effect, where the map and product icons move at different speeds as the user scrolls, creating a sense of depth and engagement.
  • Internal pages will focus on static layouts for clarity, with minimal motion to enhance usability.
