Family Health Hub

Introduction

The Family Health Hub is a comprehensive application designed to manage and store family health records. It aims to provide a centralized platform for storing medical records, prescriptions, vaccination histories, and lab reports for family members. Additionally, it offers features such as appointment reminders and medication tracking. The application will also include monetization options through premium cloud storage and integrations.

Signature Design Concept

The Family Health Hub will feature an interactive "Health Timeline" on the homepage. This timeline will visually represent the family's health records over time, with interactive nodes for each significant health event (e.g., doctor visits, vaccinations, lab results). Users can click on these nodes to expand detailed views of each record. The timeline will be animated using framer-motion to provide smooth transitions and interactions. The background will subtly change colors based on the time of day, creating a dynamic and engaging user experience.

Interaction Model & Motion Direction

The landing page will use a "parallax" interaction model, providing a layered depth effect as users scroll through the content. Decorative elements such as health icons and abstract shapes will move at different speeds to create a sense of depth. Internal pages will adopt a "static" model to ensure clarity and ease of use for data-heavy tasks.

Non-Functional Requirements

  • The system must ensure data security and privacy compliance with local regulations.
  • The application should support both English and Urdu languages.
  • The system should be scalable to accommodate a growing number of users and data.

Tech Stack

  • Frontend: React for Web, React Native for mobile app
  • Backend: Python, FastAPI
  • Database RDBMS: MySQL, using Alembic for migrations
  • AI Models: GPT 5.4 for user-friendly responses
  • AI Tools: Litellm for LLM Routing
  • Local Orchestration: Docker, docker-compose
  • Server-side Orchestration: Kubernetes
