Introduction

Welcome to the System Requirements Document (SRD) for the Elegance Style project. This document outlines the necessary requirements and specifications to develop a website for the Elegance Style hair salon, located in Wels, Austria. The website will be in German and cater to both existing and potential new clients.

System Overview

The Elegance Style website aims to enhance the salon's online presence by providing essential information such as operating hours, location, and customer reviews. It will also facilitate online appointment bookings and showcase the salon's services and pricing. The website will be user-friendly, ensuring easy navigation and accessibility for all users.

Functional Requirements

• As a User, I should be able to view the salon's operating hours and location.
• As a User, I should be able to read customer reviews to gauge the quality of services.
• As a User, I should be able to view the pricing for haircuts and other services.
• As a User, I should be able to book an appointment online.
• As an Admin, I should be able to update service prices and descriptions.

Signature Design Concept

The Elegance Style website will feature an interactive "Salon Journey" homepage. Upon entering the site, users will be greeted with a dynamic 3D model of the salon's interior, created using @react-three/fiber. Users can navigate through different sections of the salon by clicking on various interactive elements, such as mirrors and chairs, which will reveal information about services, pricing, and customer reviews. The experience will be enhanced with smooth transitions and animations powered by framer-motion, providing a seamless and engaging user experience.

Interaction Model & Motion Direction

The landing page will employ a "parallax" interaction model, creating a layered depth effect as users scroll through the site. Decorative elements, such as floating scissors and combs, will move at different speeds to add visual interest, while the main content remains in the natural flow. This approach will provide a visually rich first impression, ideal for attracting new clients and engaging existing ones.

Non-Functional Requirements

• The website must be responsive and accessible on various devices, including desktops, tablets, and smartphones.
• The website should load within 3 seconds on a standard broadband connection.
• The website must support the German language.
