Bedlu System Requirements Document

1. Introduction

Bedlu is a Navratri management website designed to facilitate event scheduling, sign-up options, and secure payment processing for event passes. The platform aims to provide users with a seamless experience in managing and participating in Navratri events, ensuring that digital passes are efficiently delivered to participants' email addresses.

2. System Overview

Bedlu will serve as a comprehensive platform for managing Navratri events. It will include features such as event scheduling, secure sign-up options, a page for past events, and secure payment processing for event passes. The system will ensure that digital passes are sent to users' email addresses upon successful payment.

3. Functional Requirements as Story Points

  • As a User, I should be able to view the event schedule to plan my participation.
  • As a User, I should be able to sign up for events securely to ensure my information is protected.
  • As a User, I should be able to view past events to see what has been previously offered.
  • As a User, I should be able to make secure payments for event passes to ensure my financial information is safe.
  • As a User, I should receive a digital pass via email after successful payment to confirm my participation.

  • Event Participant: Individuals interested in attending Navratri events, requiring access to event schedules, sign-up options, and payment processing.

7. Signature Design Concept

The Bedlu homepage will feature an interactive Navratri dance floor scene. Users can click and drag to move around the dance floor, revealing different event highlights and schedules. As users hover over different areas, animations of dancers performing traditional Garba and Dandiya will play, creating an engaging and festive atmosphere. The scene will be built using motion/react for smooth animations and interactions.

Landing Hero Motion Brief

The landing hero will depict a vibrant Navratri dance scene where dancers gather around a central stage. As users scroll, the dancers will animate, showing the transformation from preparation to a lively dance performance. The animation will loop every 10 seconds, highlighting the joy and energy of Navratri. The composition will include layers of dancers, traditional instruments, and decorative lights, creating depth and a festive mood.

8. Interaction Model & Motion Direction

  • Intended Interaction Model: Animated
  • The landing page will feature moderate scroll-triggered reveals and hover transitions to enhance user engagement. The animated dance scene will provide a lively introduction to the platform, with smooth transitions and interactive elements.

9. Non-Functional Requirements

  • The system must ensure secure handling of user data and payment information.
  • The platform should be responsive and accessible across various devices and screen sizes.
  • The website must maintain high availability during peak event times.
