Aspen Vaction is a project aimed at creating a comprehensive platform for vacation planning and management, tailored to meet the needs of users in India. The platform will offer a premium luxury travel experience, integrating various functionalities to enhance user engagement and satisfaction.

System Overview

Aspen Vaction will serve as a digital solution for users to plan, book, and manage their vacations seamlessly. The platform will cater to both individual travelers and travel agencies, offering features such as holiday packages, customized tour packages, flight and hotel booking inquiries, visa services, travel insurance, and more. The system will be designed to provide a luxurious and personalized travel planning experience.

Signature Design Concept

The Aspen Vaction homepage will feature an interactive 3D globe using @react-three/fiber and @react-three/drei. Users can rotate the globe to explore different vacation destinations. Hovering over a location will display a pop-up with quick facts and images. Clicking on a destination will zoom in, transitioning to a detailed page with booking options and itineraries. This immersive experience will make the platform engaging and intuitive, encouraging exploration and discovery.

Interaction Model & Motion Direction

The landing page will employ a "parallax" interaction model, creating a sense of depth as users scroll through layered content. Decorative elements like clouds and airplanes will move at different speeds, enhancing the storytelling aspect of the platform. Internal pages will maintain a "static" model for clarity and ease of use, focusing on functionality and information delivery.
