A story of passion, heritage, and the belief that Indian craftsmanship deserves the world stage.
The Beginning
Pearl was founded in 2018 by Meghna Rajawat, a designer who grew up surrounded by the vibrant textiles of Rajasthan. From her grandmother's sari trunk to the weaving cooperatives of Bhujodi village, her childhood was a living museum of India's extraordinary craft traditions.
After studying Fashion Design at NIFT Mumbai and working with established couture houses in Paris and New Delhi, Meghna returned home with a singular mission: to bring India's handloom artisans into the spotlight they so deeply deserve, while creating contemporary garments that resonate with modern women across the world.
Every piece is handcrafted by master artisans from India's finest weaving villages — Varanasi, Kanchipuram, and Bhujodi.
We work directly with cooperatives to ensure fair wages, natural dyes, and sustainable textile production practices.
Traditional motifs and weaves are reimagined through a modern lens, creating silhouettes that resonate with today's woman.
Each garment can be customised — from fabric and colour to embroidery and finish — to reflect your personal story.
Pearl partners with over 60 artisan families across India, preserving traditional crafts and creating livelihoods.
We celebrate India's diverse textile heritage — from Jamdani to Ikat — making each collection a journey across regions.
Each collection begins with research into historical motifs, regional techniques, and seasonal colour stories.
Hand-selected yarns are sourced directly from mills and dyed with natural or certified pigments before weaving begins.
Skilled artisans spend weeks hand-embroidering each piece with zari, resham, and mirror work.
Every garment is rigorously quality-checked, lovingly packaged, and dispatched to you with care.
