Gehun is one of India's most important staple food crops, primarily grown during the Rabi season. It thrives in cool temperatures (10-25°C) with well-drained loamy soil and requires moderate irrigation. India is the second-largest wheat producer globally.
Apply 55 kg/acre in 2-3 split doses — basal, first irrigation, and booting stage
Apply 25 kg/acre as basal dose at sowing time for strong root growth
Apply 16 kg/acre if soil test shows potassium deficiency
Apply 10 kg/acre once every two seasons to prevent zinc deficiency
