instructSite uses PyMuPDF to extract all text callouts, annotations, and labels from your architectural PDF drawings. These are cross-matched against rules stored in the Supabase "interface_risk_rules" table — including keyword arrays and conflict templates — to identify scope gaps and flag potential discrepancies.
Analysis is designed to complete within 5 seconds on average for standard architectural drawings. Complex drawings with high text density may take slightly longer. You'll see a live progress indicator while analysis runs — results appear automatically once processing completes.
Currently, instructSite supports PDF files containing architectural drawings and construction documents. PDFs must contain selectable text (not purely scanned images) to enable accurate text extraction via PyMuPDF.
Your uploaded drawings are handled with enterprise-grade security practices. All file transfers use encrypted connections and your data is stored in isolated, access-controlled environments via Supabase (PostgreSQL).
