Build a modern healthcare emergency response platform called 'LifeLine AI' as my final-year project. The primary objective is to help elderly parents or individuals who may face medical emergencies while their children or family members live far away and are unable to respond immediately. Project Vision: When an elderly person or patient experiences a medical emergency, they should be able to press a single SOS button. The system should immediately identify their live location, find nearby hospitals, nursing homes, and available ambulances, and notify family members and emergency contacts in real time. Technology Stack: * Frontend: React + TypeScript * Backend: Python (FastAPI preferred) * Database & Authentication: Supabase * Maps & Location Services: Google Maps API * Email Notifications: SMTP / Email Service Integration * Real-time Features: WebSockets or equivalent Core Features: 1. Emergency SOS System * Large one-tap SOS button. * Capture the patient's live GPS location. * Display nearest hospitals, nursing homes, government hospitals, private hospitals, and ambulance services. * Show: * Hospital name * Distance from patient * Contact number * Address * Ratings (if available) * General bed availability or pricing information when available * Show ambulance providers with: * Contact details * Distance * Availability status * Display all locations directly on an interactive map. 2. Real-Time Family Notification System * Patients can add family members and emergency contacts. * Store emergency contact email addresses. * When SOS is triggered: * Send emergency emails instantly. * Include patient information. * Include live location. * Include nearest hospitals. * Include available ambulances. * Include emergency status updates. 3. Patient Dashboard Patient Profile should include: * Full Name * Email Address * Phone Number * Blood Group * Age * Medical Conditions * Allergies * Emergency Notes * Emergency Contacts Dashboard Features: * Health overview * Medical records management * Prescription history * Medication schedules * SOS status tracking * Emergency history 4. AI Medical Assistant Integrate an AI-powered healthcare assistant. Capabilities: * Answer basic healthcare questions. * Provide general health guidance. * Analyze uploaded prescriptions. * Explain medications. * Explain diagnoses. * Help patients understand treatment instructions. * Suggest when professional medical attention may be required. Important: * The AI must clearly state that it is not a replacement for a licensed doctor. * It should provide informational guidance only. 5. Digital Medical Records System * Upload prescriptions. * Upload medical reports. * Upload images and PDFs. * Store records securely. * Organize records chronologically. * Allow users to search and filter records. * Allow viewing uploaded documents directly inside the application. 6. Medication Reminder System * Patients can enter prescribed medicines. * Store medicine schedules. * Set dosage timings. * Send reminders and notifications. The platform should combine emergency response, AI assistance, medical record management, medication reminders, real-time location tracking, and ambulance coordination into a single unified ecosystem.
