Pets Micro SaaS

Introduction

The Pets Micro SaaS project aims to develop a specialized software solution tailored for pet grooming businesses. This micro SaaS will address the unique needs of pet groomers by providing a platform that considers breed-specific time slots, coat types, and pet medical/allergy notes during the booking process.

System Overview

The Pets Micro SaaS is designed to streamline the operations of pet grooming businesses. It will offer an intuitive interface for booking appointments, managing customer information, and handling specific pet care requirements. The system will ensure that groomers can efficiently manage their schedules while accommodating the individual needs of each pet.

  • As a Pet Groomer, I should be able to record and access pet medical and allergy notes.
  • As a Pet Owner, I should be able to view available grooming slots and book an appointment.
  • As a System Administrator, I should be able to manage user accounts and permissions.

Interactive Grooming Journey

The homepage will feature an interactive grooming journey map. Users can click on different stages of the grooming process (e.g., booking, grooming, checkout) to see detailed animations and information pop-ups. Each stage will be visually represented by animated icons that transform as users interact with them. For instance, clicking on the "grooming" icon will animate a dog being groomed, showcasing various tools and techniques used.

Landing Hero Motion Brief

The hero section will depict a dynamic scene where a pet owner inputs their pet's details, and the system visually processes this information, transforming it into a personalized grooming schedule. The animation will loop every 10 seconds, showing the transition from data entry to a completed booking confirmation. This will be achieved using motion/react for smooth transitions and interactions.

Interaction Model & Motion Direction

  • Intended Interaction Model: Animated
  • The landing page will feature moderate scroll-triggered reveals and hover transitions. Interactive elements will have spring physics for a polished user experience. Each section will have a distinctive mechanic, such as morphing SVGs or kinetic typography, to maintain user engagement.

Non-Functional Requirements

  • The system must be scalable to accommodate multiple grooming businesses.
  • Ensure data security and privacy for all user information.
  • The application should be responsive and accessible on various devices.
