Introduction

The Loople Search Engine is designed to provide users with a fast, intelligent, and comprehensive search experience. Inspired by the functionality of Google, Loople aims to deliver AI-generated overviews, images, websites, news, videos, and extensive search results to meet diverse user needs.

System Overview

Loople is a search engine platform that leverages advanced AI technologies to enhance the search experience. It is designed to quickly deliver relevant information across various media types, including text, images, videos, and news articles. The platform's goal is to provide users with a seamless and efficient search experience, offering results that are both comprehensive and easy to navigate.

Functional Requirements as Story Points

  • As a User, I should be able to perform searches and receive AI-generated overviews of the search topic.

Interactive Search Universe

The Loople homepage will feature an "Interactive Search Universe" where each search category (AI Overview, Images, Websites, News, Videos) is represented as a celestial body orbiting around a central search bar. Users can click on these celestial bodies to expand and explore each category in detail. The universe will be animated using motion/react to create smooth transitions and interactions. As users hover over each celestial body, it will glow and display a brief description of the category.

LANDING HERO MOTION BRIEF

The landing hero will depict a dynamic universe where search inputs (keywords) are transformed into a constellation of results. The central search bar acts as a gravitational pull, drawing in keywords that morph into stars representing different result types. As the user types, these stars animate into their respective categories, such as images or news articles, and settle into a constellation that represents the comprehensive search results. This animation will loop every 10 seconds, with a reduced-motion option for accessibility.

Interaction Model & Motion Direction

  • Intended Interaction Model: Animated
  • The landing page will feature moderate scroll-triggered reveals and hover transitions. Interactive elements will have spring physics for a polished feel. Each section will have a unique mechanic, such as morphing SVGs or cursor-reactive tilts, to maintain user engagement.
