How to Complete Face Verification
Follow these four steps to make sure your scan is fast, accurate, and passes on the first try.
Position Your Face in the Frame
Center your face within the on-screen oval guide so the system can map your features accurately.
Ensure Adequate Lighting
Face a light source and avoid strong backlighting or heavy shadows falling across your face.
Look Directly at the Camera
Keep your eyes on the lens and hold a neutral, relaxed expression while the scan runs.
Keep Your Face Visible
Remove sunglasses, hats, or masks that could obscure your eyes, nose, or mouth during capture.
Quick Tips
- Hold your device at eye level for the most accurate scan.
- Find a quiet, well-lit space free of harsh shadows or glare.
- Stay still for a few seconds once the frame outline turns green.
Common Issues
Move a little closer to the camera and make sure your entire face, including your chin and forehead, fits inside the frame.
Turn toward a window or lamp facing your face directly, and dim any bright lights positioned behind you.
Check your internet connection and close any other apps that may be using your camera, then try again.
