BUILD A MICRO SAAS CALLED "CASH PULSE UAE" MISSION: A daily cash flow visibility dashboard for UAE SME founders and finance teams. Not an accounting system. A decision-readiness layer that sits on top of bank accounts, invoices, and obligations to prevent cash flow blindness. --- PROBLEM STATEMENT: 80% of UAE SMEs report needing better cash flow management tools. SMEs don't stall because they lack funding, but because they lack visibility over their financial position. Decisions are made reactively because founders cannot see real-time receivables and payables. This leads to payroll panic, missed VAT deadlines, and expensive short-term credit. --- TARGET USER: - UAE SME founder (10-50 employees) - Outsourced finance manager / accountant managing multiple clients - Pre-Series A startup CFO needing runway visibility - Primary language: English (Arabic RTL support in V2) --- CORE MODULES (MUST BUILD): MODULE 1: DASHBOARD (Daily Cash Position) - Single-screen "You have AED 127,400 today. AED 89,000 is committed this week." - Connect bank accounts via open banking (Mashreq, Emirates NBD, FAB, ADCB) - Show cash on hand across AED + foreign currency accounts - Visual indicator: Green (>60 days runway), Yellow (30-60 days), Red (<30 days) MODULE 2: 30-DAY FORECAST (Rolling Cash Flow) - Timeline view: Day 1 to Day 30 - Expected inflows: Invoices due, categorized by customer - Expected outflows: Payroll, rent, supplier payments, VAT - Expected payment date vs. invoice due date (learned from customer history) - Net cash position by day MODULE 3: BURN RATE & RUNWAY CALCULATOR - Monthly burn rate: auto-calculated from actual outflows - Runway in days: "At current burn, you have 47 days of cash" - Operational cash vs. growth capital split - Chart: burn rate trend over last 6 months MODULE 4: WHAT-IF SCENARIO BUILDER - "What if Client X pays 30 days late?" → instant impact on runway - "What if I hire 2 staff at AED 8,000 each?" → cash impact - "What if rent increases 15%?" → scenario modeling - Slider inputs for quick adjustments MODULE 5: VAT & COMPLIANCE CALENDAR - VAT filing deadlines linked to cash position - License renewal alerts - Corporate tax return deadlines - "You need AED 45,000 for VAT on the 28th. Your forecast shows AED 38,000. Action required." MODULE 6: ALERT SYSTEM - Email + WhatsApp Business API notifications - Triggers: "Cash below 30 days runway", "Large payable due in 3 days", "Customer payment 15 days overdue" - Digest mode: Daily morning summary at 8 AM MODULE 7: RECEIVABLES AGING - Table: Customer | Invoice | Due Date | Days Overdue | Amount - Color-coded: Green (0-15 days), Yellow (16-30 days), Red (30+ days) - One-click "Send Reminder" button (auto-generates polite reminder email) MODULE 8: PAYABLES TRACKER - Upcoming obligations: rent, payroll, supplier invoices, VAT - Days until due - Priority ranking by impact --- DATA MODEL: User: - id, email, company_name, license_type (mainland/free_zone), industry, team_size, created_at BankAccount: - id, user_id, bank_name, account_number_masked, currency (AED/USD/EUR/GBP), current_balance, last_synced_at Transaction: - id, bank_account_id, amount, type (inflow/outflow), category, description, date, is_recurring Invoice: - id, user_id, customer_name, amount, due_date, expected_payment_date, status (pending/paid/overdue), days_overdue Scenario: - id, user_id, name, assumptions (JSON), projected_runway_days, impact_on_cash Alert: - id, user_id, type, message, status (read/unread), channel (email/whatsapp), sent_at --- USER FLOWS: ONBOARDING FLOW: 1. Interactive Cash Flow Map

The homepage of Cash Pulse will feature an interactive cash flow map. Users will see a dynamic, animated map of their financial landscape, where cash inflows and outflows are represented as streams flowing into and out of a central reservoir. Users can click on different streams to see detailed information about specific transactions or forecasted events. The map will change color based on the financial health indicators (green, yellow, red) and will be built using motion/react for smooth animations and interactions.

Landing Hero Motion Brief

The landing hero will depict a central reservoir representing the user's cash position. Streams of cash flow will animate in and out, changing colors to indicate financial health. Users can interact with the streams to pause the animation and view detailed transaction data. The animation will loop every 10 seconds, providing a continuous visual representation of cash flow dynamics.

8. Interaction Model & Motion Direction

  • Interaction Model: Animated
  • The landing page will feature moderate scroll-triggered reveals and hover transitions. Interactive elements will have spring physics for a polished feel.
  • Internal pages will maintain a static layout for clarity, with minimal motion to enhance usability.
